I've got music stuff in the garage and the attic. I haven't taught music in almost ten years. But there are some things I just can't bear to part with.
Likewise...I still have my sixth grade core materials. Yes, I am working as a librarian now, but there's no telling when the District will seek to support literacy by firing all of the librarians in order to save money....and I might be back in the classroom again. So I really don't want to get rid of that stuff either.
And I have four bookcases of books in the garage...plus some boxes.....plus some canvas bags......all full of books. There are books I *know* I own and I can't find them. I've packed up my room so many times there are desk things I know I have I can't find. I seriously need to clean my garage. But I also need to clean the attic. (And sell stuff on ebay.)
I did go through all of my Hallmark ornaments and excess them to eBay. Made almost $200. Now if only the last person would pay me so I can mail the last box.
BTW.....did you find a surprise at the Post Office?
