I am a refuge from the homophobia and bigotry on LiveJournal, which I was a member of for decades. I hate Donald tRump and everything he stands for. Recently retired, I taught English for 30+ years in public high schools. I miss it but am glad to be out of the politically inspired mess public education is currently in.

I live alone (with three cats) in my old home town--I miss my students and colleagues, but I am coping by putting my new home together and playing with the cats and the dolls. I hope to write great novels now that I am retired.
