You went in to school on Labor Day? You labored on Labor Day? You're aware it's a holiday...right?
You know....it could just be school. I take my blood pressure at my Mom's house. Coincidentally, it's been up since school started.
Tuesday I went back to my old school and waited for an e-mail from Human Resources. It came and there were 8 pairs of schools to choose from. I made my choices and sent it right back because Brian said he was going to use first come/ first served and seniority to place us. When I got home I had second thoughts and would have reversed my first and second pic. Worked the rest of the week waiting for him to contact me about my assignment. Got the e-mail today the last period of the day in the middle of textbook distribution. I got my first choice. Oh, well, it was OK. Then I got a second e-mail correcting the first. He had copy/pasted without correcting schools. I got my second choice! The one I actually wanted. Ibarra elementary is 6/10 of a mile from my house, Fay elementary is 1 mile from my house. When I got home I had an e-mail from the Ibarra principal. She and the other principal want me to come every other WEEK. Exactly what I wanted! And...it's a late start school. They don't start until 8:40 am. The dog is going to be so pleased he can sleep in. They are both brand new schools with brand new libraries. And both have library assistants. So I can really BE a librarian instead of doing clerk work. I'll probably drive by both this weekend to see where they are. I could ride my bike to both so I'll start bike shopping again.
Funny, I had a neck cramp for over a month this summer. It finally went away, but it was awful.
It's stress. It manifests itself in many different ways, but it's stress. Teachers care too much about their kids. And you care a LOT about your kids.
Aw, you poor thing.
