I actually have a dream catcher made by a for-real Lakota Souix lady hanging from the middle of my ceiling from the ceiling fan pull chain.

I bought it up at the headwaters of the Mississippi River from a very elderly Lakota woman who was making them in Itasca State Park. I was about 10 years old.

It doesn't really strain my bad dreams out very well. Maybe I need to get a fresh one. Maybe this one is already full of bad dreams....
