Writer's Block: Beyond Our Ken

[Error: unknown template qotd]Well, I can't explain why my former principal was such an absolute asshole.  Nor could I explain what joy he took out of humiliating people (both students and teachers) and torturing them.  I suspect part of the deal was a mental illness called narcissism, because he always seemed to think he was completely respected when in fact everyone thought he was a tool and a moron.

I don't think that has any paranormal connection.

I have had some paranormal experiences as well, but they are too long to write about at this moment.  Perhaps later.

I suspect the school board is, on the whole, stupid. After all one member who has been on the board for about 25 years once told me that there was no need to buy new books for the library. "The kids won't read them anyway."

But he was ALL in favor of pop-up sprinklers for the football field and the football stadium at that school is about 50 times BETTER than the one at my old college!

Also, the board is so very anti-teacher that they LIKE it that the principal crucifies the teachers. They are all fucking assholes.

It was the stupidintendent who stabbed a board member in the chest with a pencil.

It was nuts. Just nuts.

I am so glad to be out of there.

sigh

IF ONLY I could sell my house and stop paying taxes to that fucked up district.

I still flip it off and wish it would burn to the ground (with the troll inside) every time I drive by it.

It's tradition now.

Oh, I have an organ donor card too. Anything they want when I am done with it, they can have.

Well, as a last resort.

If you were really desperate and didn't care....you could simply walk away. Pack everything up, move into an apartment near your school and let the house go. Let it go into delinquency and let them foreclose. It would screw your credit for about 7 years, but how much to you really use credit for? You're not declaring bankruptcy and I don't think the credit cards would screw with you as long as you were making *their* payments.

Just a thought.

There is a real estate company here that guarantees it will sell your house in six months or they will buy it. Once I get things truly under control, I may give them a call. I don't care if I make a penny over what I owe on it (plus the real estate guys' cut) so long as I can get out of this shit town. The people here are mostly nice, but god, there is NOTHING here for me other than a couple of friendships and a really good mechanic.

I need something with a little more opportunity to stretch my wings.

I want to join a writer's group--maybe take some art classes--or better yet, a really good quilting class.

I'm already 54. I'm going to be dead in another 30 years of so. I need to get moving on the things I really WANT out of my life. Not putzing along putting up with the left over crumbs that spill onto the floor.
