I just have to share this....

This is a "cabin' made by one of my on-line doll collecting buddies.  Isn't it awesome??  Look at the little details in the background.  look at those kitchen CHAIRS!!  i want them.  I was not even aware that such things existed.  They are PERFECT scale.
Look at the bear skin rug that you can see in the next room.  It looks like a real house.  Even the wear on the table looks realistic.

THIS is why I love my doll hobby--it is so cool to see what people can actually do, and how realistic  they can make their rooms.

BTW, I don't remember who posted this picture, and I am posting it here without asking.  I apologize if this is a problem--think of it as a compliment to your awesome talent if you are  its creator.

I love the detail in that room.

Great details.

I swear I knew her, LOL. That's David Stewart's mom!!! DS was my bestest buddy when we moved to So Cal in the '60's. He moved before we started 5th grade but he was waaay cool. We used to go the boys club together. That looks so realistic . . . those chairs even look "well used" just like real life.

Cool hobby. Enjoy the dream!

Who is that in the kitchen?

That looks like Rosie O'Donnell in the kitchen.

Is that a french maid in the living room?

You know, *you* could build a diorama like this. You've got some furniture or could find it. You have accessories. You could do curtains and wallpaper and the whole bit. You could.

I was once going to do an entire set of rooms for my Muffy Vanderbear and Hoppy Vanderhare plushes. But instead they are packed in the attic. Maybe after I retire.

that is a Rosie O'Donnell doll. I have one too. I love her. I think the doll in the other room is supposed to be Rosie's teen aged daughter.

I've got TONS of furniture and accessories...and I have worked on some doll house rooms in Barbie scale. I need to beg my friend Jim to make me some boxes to make some genuine room boxes. My uncle is retired and can do beautiful work, but I highly doubt that he would do that for me.

He and I are at polar opposite ends of the political and philosophical universe and he hates everything I love and believe in.
