Snow Season has Begun
I woke up Friday morning and it was snowing. it had apparently snowed some in the night as there was snow covering the ground and also sort of packed on the plants and things. The flakes were really big and fluffy, and it was soooo pretty. I had my camera with me so I took a few pictures.

This is what remains of my flower garden (those are the corpses of my echinachea plants).
I think it is cool how the falling flakes caught the flash of my camera.

This is looking north from the alley behind my house. Look at the snowflakes! They look like big puffy kernals of popcorn.

This was taken in Byron, next to the Kwik Trip. I love pictures of the snow. I was stopped at the red light.

This is by the drive through menu of McDonalds in Byron. That tree with the large pine cones all frosted with snow was just too cool. I had to get a picture. It made me feel like singing Christmas Carols.

This was taken later in the afternoon on my way home.

Another shot as i am leaving Rochester.

I took this picture when I was stopped at a red light. You can't see the snow at all in this one.

My backyard. The snowless patches are my sidewalk that leads to the alley and to the shed.
I love the way the snow catches the light.
