Can I go back to bed and sleep for six more weeks?
Pleeeeeeease???????
Because I went to my mom's this weekend, I did not do any grocery shopping and I did not cook. Therefore, I ordered some Chinese take out and picked it up on the way home. I got some chicken and broccoli, some Mongolian beef, and some steamed dumplings. I had a little bit of each for supper. Everything was delicious. I have some chicken and broccoli in a dish for school tomorrow. There should be enough of everything to last me for most of the week. I love Chinese food.
According to my fortune cookie, I will be a "great success" in both business and social situations. Hmmm....
Nothing too exciting happened today. I have no interesting stories to tell...
Last night I had strange dreams but because I didn't write them down right away when I woke up, they have faded. One thing I remember is that I had gotten a job in a grocery type store...it was an old building with hardwood floors. It was sort of crummy looking.
Anyhow, my job was apparently to dust and tidy the shelves. The shelves were disgustingly dirty. I was finding all kinds of gross things tucked into the shelves--cobs from sweet corn--apparently there was some sort of a food buffet in the store as well. I found three really old dimes tucked into the back of a shelf. I found a little mess bag of tiny shriveled up potatoes in there.
I was wishing for my swiffer dusters. The shelves looked so much nicer after I had cleaned them.
That's about all I remember now.

I've done this before.
I've never done it with chinese takeout. It takes so much better fresh. But I have made chix chow mein from a can (chung king) and a large batch of rice and then reheated and eaten that for days.
Wish I has some now.
I got lucky. Mom made chix a la king Saturday and gave me the leftovers. I ate it Sunday night, tonight and I have enough for tomorrow.
I've been making tuna sandwiches for lunch. I have enough choc. milk and yoghurt for one more day. Then I must shop.
I have to pick up Rx and go for tests Wed. afternoon so trying to put off shopping until then.
I'll start believing fortune cookies when I hit big with the lottery numbers on the back. While I'm waiting, I'll eat them because they are delicious.
