I haven't been wrapping my knee with the ace bandage--I tried but it kept falling off. And it seemed that my knee felt worse with it on. It seems to feel the best when I am elevating it and pumping it with hot and cold packs.
Pain sucks.
It sucks too that the first places they go to hack away for budgetary reasons are the libraries, the art rooms, and the music areas. Bastards. Cut football once, why don't they?
Rome had bread and circuses. We seem to have beer and football.
Sigh.
My taxes are done and I am getting a pretty good chunk back. It is all going to pay off debt--with the possible exception of a small recliner for my bedroom so I can sit and watch tv or sew or read upstairs and still put my feet up.
Good vintage furniture always puts new stuff to shame. probably because new stuff is so lacking in quality and character.
Sigh.
I'll keep my eyes open for Clementine. Right now I am reading The Silver Metal Lover by Tanith Lee. I'm going to read it with my SF/Fantasy class. I think the kids will like it--it's got a 16 year old girl falling in love with a robot and sex IS involved (but very delicately described).
I can't believe my spring break is already over. SIGH SIGH SIGH.
