A 2:30 am update.
Oct. 22nd, 2005 02:26 amI cleaned my FILTHY bathroom, finally, and almost asphixiated myself on cleaning fumes. I coughed and gasped and wheezed until my cat freaked out and ran away to hide. BUT the bathroom is FINALLY CLEAN!!!
It took me almost two hours to do, because it was SOOOOO nasty!
I HAVE to start doing the "flylady" routine. That is an awesome thing. Have you heard of that?
http://www.flylady.net/
Check it out, if you feel like it. It is amazing. I've read it all, but have not had the will to actually participate yet. I am fighting the concept of starting where I am and going in baby steps. I want to get everything PERFECT, then use the Flylady program to maintain it. It's a little bit like running as fast as you can into a brick wall with your head and hoping that the wall will break before your head does. (My way, that is, not flylady's.) heh heh heh
Then I folded and put away several baskets of laundry and sorted out some MORE dirty laundry. Don't you wonder where it all comes from? Then I cleaned up a ton of clutter in my bedroom, including picking up all my poor little skippers, whom my evil cat had hurled to the floor in an attempt to scale the book case that they were sitting atop. Poor little girls!! They were in a horrible state!
Then, I discovered that the cat had PUKED all over the bottom shelf of the bookshelf. Thank goodness, it is a wide shelf, and none of the vomit got on my books. ARG. It must have happened a few days ago, because it was all dried on and GROSS.
I got all the clutter dealt with, then packed my bags for a couple days at my Mom's house (which is where I am at the moment). Then, I went downstairs, where I cleaned the litterboxes, watered the plants, sacked up a ton of garbage and got it ready to haul out to the curb on Monday evening (garbage man comes EARLY on Tuesday morning), and did a huge sink full of dishes.
By the time I had all that done, I was exhausted. But, I went to the bank to deposit my check, finally got my swaps mailed off to Chris and Kathy, and discovered that I had my swap from Chris in my mailbox (I hadn't been to the post office all week because of being sick with the flu).
The Halloween outfit Chris sent me is WONDERFUL. I love the fabric. Eventually, I will put a picture of it up here.
I also had to get a Money Order for a school set in barbie size that I bought off ebay and got THAT in the mail.
And I returned my overdue library book.
Then I drove to my mom's house and spent the rest of the evening sitting in a recliner, watching old movies on tv and working on my Fall Swap for Jeanne Mari!
Whew!
I'm dead...and it is past 2 am, and I just finished going through my emails so they don't build up to a million before I get a chance to look again tomorrow.
I AM INSANE!!!!
Heh heh heh
