DeAnn texted me this morning and cancelled our zoom as she was going to go look at several open houses. I was actually kind of glad because I was really tired. I ended up sleeping until 11 am. I have spent most of the day watching episodes of 911. I am watching episode 38 of my recordings right now. I will be able to watch at least two, maybe three more before I go to bed tonight. There were nearly 60 when I started.
I did take time to eat a bowl of my chicken and rice hot dish and a bowl of ice cream, do a sink full of dishes and talk to my mother on the phone for an hour. She didn’t have anything newsworthy to report.
I also had to spend quite a bit of time holding Peaches who required a lot of loving today.
It was another sunny but chilly day. It’s a little warmer today than it was yesterday, but it is still not spring, and I am longing for spring. The snow is so deep that it is going to take forever to melt it all. I just hope that it doesn’t result in four feet of water in my basement when it finally does melt.
Tomorrow, DeAnn and I are scheduled to have a productivity partnership zoom. I am hoping I can get up early enough to take a shower first then sort and start my laundry. If I were not such a lazy ass, I would sort and start it tonight, but I just cannot. I have zero energy and motivation.
I am going to get my income tax stuff in an envelope and ready to mail tonight. I also still have to order more pods of Sheba cat food and feed the cats before I call it a night.
I guess I am devoid of interesting or important information tonight.
I am grumpy because today was pretty much a waste. And I am grumpy because it looks like the entire day of Tuesday this week and at least half if not more of Wednesday are fucked as I will have to baby sit Lily and am still trying to figure out what I am going to do about feeding her. Currently, I am considering driving to Owatonna early on Tuesday (before noon) and picking up take out. I figure I can get sub sandwiches for lunch and possibly pizza for supper. Or some chef salads. I like chef salads. I have not had one in years.
Perhaps while I am at her house I can work on her recipe project. Anything to save me from watching hours of crappy contest shows or gag-worthy Hallmark formula movies. Ugh.
