Am Babysitting Rob the Robin
Jun. 22nd, 2005 07:10 pmJim and DeAnn have gone to Faribault to load the kiln and get some groceries and supper. I am taking care of the adorable Rob. I have fed him twice. He didn't eat or drink much in the first feeding I gave him, so I only waited for 45 minutes before feeding him again. He ate three food balls, drank several drops of water from my finger, and pooped. So, I guess that's pretty good.
DeAnn was very sweet and made me a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of mushroom soup. So now I am stuffed.
I went to see Laurie today, and my knee continues to feel much better. I went to Costas and got some dark chocolate turtles for us for a treat. Ooooh.
They were delightful.
I ended up staying at Jim and DeAnn's to watch the DVD version of "Organizing from the Inside Out." Then we watched "BLUE HAWAII," an Elvis Presley movie. Just when I was thinking about going home, DeAnn was worrying about leaving Rob alone while they went to Faribault for filling the kiln and getting some groceries. I offered to stay. After I write in this a bit and check my friends, page, I'm going to watch the first Harry Potter Video. I love that.
It's so magical!
I finished one of the little pink jumpsuits I made for Tutti-sized dolls, and the other one is within minutes of being done.
I thought I could fire up DeAnn's IM and sign in myself to see if Peter or Steven or Hier or Rich or Emily were on line, but, I couldn't do it.
So that's that.
I'm really tired and I have a head ache.
Probably had too much sugar today with those rich turtles.
Ah, well....so it goes.
I slept like a rock last night and had very odd dreams. I dreamt that I was getting ready to go to a wedding but I couldn't find my shoes or my underwear. My mom brought me a really ugly dress and told me I should wear that. I couldn't find what I wanted.
And when I went to take a shower, the shower was on the wall like a normal shower, but you stood on a MATTRESS. It seemed odd to me in the dream, but I went ahead and tried to shower on it anyway. But there were three little girls who wouldn't stay out of the bathroom. Finally, I physically dragged them out and slammed the door. They stood outside wailing and my mom yelled at me for being mean to them.
It was BIZARRE in so many ways.
Well, that's it from me for the moment.
I'm exhausted.
