Sunday

Last night I went to Jim and DeAnn's for supper--they grilled.  Beave and Sue, Hube, and Brad, all friends of theirs, were also there.  They are all nice people.

After eating a feast of major proportions, we had a bonfire and talked till about 11 pm.  There were a few "shooting stars" to be seen.  I saw one excellent one--it had an impressive tail on it!

The fire was nice.  It was actually cold outside.  I had to put on my fleece jacket!

I suppose it'll be up in the 90's before long again.  Weather is weird.

Next week is the fair in Owatonna, so I'm sure it will be miserable for that.  I really have no intention of going to the fair.  Other than a cream puff and an elephant ear, the fair hold no magic for me at this time.

Well, it is after noon, so I suppose I should take a bath and get dressed.  I also need to eat something soon.

 

Thinning the Herd

I sorted through a box of dolls and doll stuff last night and today.  I separated the "wheat" from the "chaff," so to speak, and am in the process of slowly uploading the pictures of the dolls and stuff I want to get rid of on a Yahoo Group called "Viki's finds."  There is no cost to list anything, and apparently lots of people use it to buy and sell and trade.

I don't really want much for the dolls I want to get rid of--truly, just postage would be enough for me.  I just don't want to throw them away.  I'd be happy to get a couple bucks for each of them.

I will probably thin the herd even more severely later on.  I have way to much stuff.  Way too much.  I can't enjoy ANY of it when I have so darned much.

It would be nice if people would want them all....I can only hope.

Sigh.

This might be a good place to list some of my doll clothes as well.  Especially my children's clothes collection.

When I get done uploading the pictures I've already taken, I will go down and clean out another box and take MORE pictures.

I am also determined to get my bed cleared off today.  I've been sleeping on a bare mattress on a bed full of crap long enough.  I took pictures--I'll load them onto Flickr later and you can see that I am NOT exaggerating.

Well, gotta get back to my uploading.

PLEASE, someone--buy these dolls so I can be rid of them!!
