Trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel....

School is back in session, which means that I am struggling to get back into the routine.

Yesterday, I went into school at 11 am (had planned to be there at 7 am, but phone rang off the hook) and stayed until around 7 pm.  I had hoped to get all my correcting done, pay my bills while I was there, plan ahead for at least the first 2-3 days of school next week, and do my therapy homework.

Well....I got all my correcting done.  It took all damn day.  

It has been hard to get my morning walk in now that school is in session too.  To really get everything done that I need to do in the morning, I have to get up at 4:30 am and be walking before 5 am.  I'm trying to be at school this year by 7 am every day so I don't have to fight for the copy machine and I have some time to do what I need to do and mentally prepare myself for the day.

Busy busy busy

The main areas of my house were looking pretty good, but now they are sliding a little.  It is my goal today to get them whipped back into shape.

My list of things to do is pretty long, and I AM still holding out a faint hope that I can go and see either Mr Woodcock or Shoot 'Em Up this afternoon.  At one point, I thought I could see both this weekend, but I now realize this was a fool's dream.  I also want to see The Brave One and The Bourne Ultimatum, but I know that the former was just released and will be around a while yet, and the latter is going to be in Kasson this week, so I can go and see it for $3 after school some night at the 4 pm matinee.

It always helps me if I write down what I need to do before I start, so I've made myself a little document in word and am about to paste it in here.  Hope it works.

Whoo hoo!  It did.  As you can see, I did already start to do a little work today.  Ingrid called and invited me over for breakfast.  I didn't really want to go because I really felt like digging in to my cleaning today, but I haven't spent any time with her all week, and she IS going to go and pick up my new chair for me at the furniture store tomorrow--I think, anyhow.  That was the plan, the last I heard.  

I may have to call and ask her later.

Right now, I want to get started.  Next on the list is the laundry--once that is started, I am going to pay bills.

I'll check off the items on the list as I get them done.
