In 1999, I crocheted an afghan for each of my nieces and nephews. The littlest one in this picture, Lucas, graduates this spring. The other boys have already graduated--from left to right, they are Lucas, Kyle, Erik, and Matthew. I don't know how t hey got so grown up so fast. I want them to be little boys again, snuggling in my lap and reading books. I miss my little boys.
Since Lucas is graduating this spring, Mom and I have been going through all the pictures for his graduation displays. Here is a picture of him with me (I am in the shadows to the right) making whipped cream for the pumpkin pie. He's giving the thumbs up because he was so excited to be allowed to use the mixer himself!! (With auntie's careful supervision, of course.)
Since he was a very little boy, Lucas has LOVED kitties. He's never been able to have a kitty of his own. I hope when he graduates and has his own home, one of the first things he gets is a kitty or two. :)
