Tuesday, June 9

I did laundry.  I found and cleaned up cat puke in the living room and the kitchen.  Thankfully, it was not "juicy."

I wiped down all the stuff Lily brought me from Fleet Farm.  Two bags each of Walnuts and Pecans, two bags of cinnamon bears, and two bags of pecans dipped in amaretto flavored chocolate.   I put away the clean dishes in the dish drainer and washed the dirty dishes.

There was a brief rain in the afternoon, and I watched and deleted a bunch of Wagon Train episodes.

Wednesday, June 10

An unknown good Samaritan dragged my recycling bin back up to the house.  I heard it, but by the time I got to the window, whoever did it was already gone.  Thank you, random citizen.

I ate leftover potato soup for lunch.

I spent most of the day going through my digital camera picture on my camera, labeling them with the year and any other pertinent information, and moving them to folders--mainly "my life" and "my dolls."  I have so many pictures on my computer that it is almost unbelievable.

I kept watching and deleting more episodes of Wagon Train as I worked on my pictures. Originally, I had way over 100 episodes on the DVR.

Today was bright sunshine.  All day long, kids played in the park and rode their bikes around and around the block.  Not a mask on any one of them.

Thursday, June 11

Lily came over today as she wanted my shopper. She got my mail and also brought me a bunch of goodies she had baked this morning.  She gave me three each of sugar cookies, ginger snaps, and oatmeal scotchies.  She also gave me two pieces of banana bars and a small loaf of banana bread.

I cleaned the litter boxes and cut apart two 6-packs of Diet Coke and dragged them into the living room where I will wipe them down with clorox wipes and put them in the small pop fridge.  I did the dishes and made myself peanut butter toast for lunch.

I again watched and deleted several episodes of Wagon Train.  I'm averaging about 7 episodes a day.  My goal is to clean out my DVR.  I kept working on my pictures.  It will make it much easier for me to find what I am looking for once they are done.

It was another sunny day.  Kids everywhere.

It's been two weeks since I ordered groceries, but I didn't really need anything desperately, so I decided to hold off for another week.  I have tons of food here.  I did order some stuff from Schwans.  For myself, I just got a pint of raspberry ice cream and a box of heat and eat cinnamon rolls.  Lily got a lot of stuff because her son is coming next week and she wants to have a lot of easy to make food to feed him.  Mom wanted a box of ice cream bars, but they were out of stock.

Friday, June 12

The Schwan's man came and delivered all the stuff.  I called Lily and she came to pick up her stuff.  I put mine in the freezer.  I broke down a couple of cardboard boxes and threw some garbage and recycling in the bins outside.

I made some tuna salad for sandwiches and had that for supper.  I haven't had that in a long time.  I chopped up onions and celery and added a big spoonful of pickle relish an mixed it all up with mayonnaise.  It was delicious on toast.

I finished organizing my pictures--and then I went through and put all the pictures in the "my life" folder into individual folders for the years.  I had pictures from 2010 till the present.  Then I took all the pictures from the "my dolls" categories and put them in separate folders for each kind of doll.  I had folders for 18" dolls, Barbie dolls, Chatty Cathy dolls, Chrysallis dolls, Kish dolls, Leatrice doll (which is the doll that Tammy found in her mother in law's house with a missing foot), LeeAnn dolls, My Friend dolls, Other dolls, Tammy dolls, Tonner dolls, and Wellie Wisher dolls.  I also have folders for "Accessories" and "Stuff I hope to get" and "doll craft ideas."  I belong to quite a few doll groups on Facebook, so this will make it much easier to post pictures when I get the urge.

I watched and deleted more episodes of Wagon Train as I worked on my folders of pictures.

Saturday, June 13

I had tuna salad sandwiches for lunch again.  Then I wiped down all the Diet Coke with clorox wipes and restocked the pop fridge.

It was a quiet, pleasant day.

I am still working my way through Wagon Train.  The end is near.  There are under 50 episodes left to watch and delete.  There is a new episode recorded every day (well, all the episodes are OLD, but I haven't seen them in 50 years or so).

It was another quiet day.

Sunday, June 14

It seems like I just filled my pill caddy, and it was already time to fill it again today.  Happily, I did not have to refill any prescriptions.

I tidied up the area by my recliner.  I had a lot of stuff that needed to be bagged up for recycling.  I went through the bag full of mail that Lily had brought me.  There was only one bill to pay--the Culligan bill, and it was only a little over $8.

I made a big pot of chili and ate it for supper.  I did the dishes and hauled some garbage and recycling out to the bins.  I cleaned the litter boxes again, and cut apart the last three 6-packs of Diet Coke apart and dragged them into the living room to be wiped down later.

Tomorrow I need to go fill my car with gas for the first time since early March.  I have to take Mom to the eye doctor on Tuesday.  She has to have her macular degeneration shot in the eye every six weeks or she will lose what's left of her vision.

I ordered something on Etsy--it is a piano that looks like it will be a perfect size for my LeeAnn dolls.  I've been wanting to work on a couple of rooms for them.  I saw some perfect school desks for them, but the person who makes them is in Russia.
And they are $33 each.  I need 8 of them, as I want them all to match and I have 4 LeeAnn dolls, but I want to get 4 more of the boy versions of this kind of doll.  I took a copy of the picture and and going to see if I can possibly recreate them in cardboard or plastic canvas. I really want the wooden ones, but OUCH.  It would cost me $264 for eight desks.

I sure wish I had the skills and the machinery to make things of wood.

I miss watching The Walking Dead on Sunday nights.  But, I am still working my way through Wagon Train.   It's fun to see who shows up as "guest stars" on these old shows.  Leonard Nimoy has been on it several times.  He played a Mexican revolutionary on one of today's episodes.

Monday

I slept in today as late as I could--which was about 10:30 am. My mother called as I had not called her yesterday.  She wanted me to take her to the post office as she had to mail copies of her 2017 tax records into the state.  She got a letter from them saying that they could not find her records.  I thought this might be a scam, but Jack had looked at it yesterday and said it was legit.  They have a record of her tax check being cashed but no copy of her actual documents.  That is just weird.

Anyhow, I told her I had planned to go and fill my tank with gas in around 1:30 as I have to take her to the eye doctor tomorrow.  I was down under 1/4 a tank.  I had not filled my gas tank since early March!  So, I watched another episode of Wagon Train then bagged up her cookies and the container of chili I was going to bring her and the two letters I needed to mail and went and got her.  We went to the gas station, and she gave me her debit card to fill my tank since I have taken her to all her appointments as well as on rides out in the country every time I have left my house.

Then I took her to the post office where she mailed her stuff and my stuff.  She offered to come to my house and drag my lawn chair out of the garage, so I took her there.  Apparently my worthless nephews had buried it under a bunch of shit in the garage--one of the things piled on it was an empty Culligan water jug.  Why they would stuff that in the very back of the garage is beyond me.  Lazy worthless pieces of shit.  I have to pay  a deposit on each of those water bottles of about $5.  So, I will have to haul that into the breezeway so the next time the Culligan man comes, he can take it and I can get credit for it.

There is no reason they could not have done that.  Morons.

Since I had her with me, I pulled up next to my mail box and she fished my mail out of it.  I had another great big bag full of mail. I suppose it is mostly catalogs again.  I didn't go through it today.  I will probably look through it tomorrow after I come back from Albert Lea.  I drove her out to Beaver Lake then to the swamp where we saw the swans again.  The babies were all tucked into their parents' wings, apparently, or perhaps hiding in the weeds.  We didn't see them, just the momma and papa.

When I got home, I caught up with my DW journal that I was behind on.  It is shocking to me how little time it takes for me to fall behind on this thing.

In the afternoon, I sorted and started my laundry.  I am hoping I can get it all washed at least today--I only have two loads.  I swept the area around my recliner--there were a lot of little crumbs and little pieces of paper and wisps of cat fur.  I swept the hallway between the living room and bedroom and about half of the bedroom.  I'd like to strip my bed and put fresh bedding on it tomorrow morning.  I've been wanting to do that almost every day for a couple of weeks.

Mom gave me a ziplock bag of cantaloupe, so I ate some of that for supper.  I warmed up some of my left over chili for supper.  It tasted pretty good.  I have been craving a nice thick bacon cheese burger.  I might have to look into ordering one from the local restaurant.  I just don't have much trust in restaurant food at the current time.  You do not know who is cooking it, whether they are wearing proper protective gear, or what.

My cousin Hope (the daughter of my cousin Lee, Lily's older son who died fifteen years ago) has to go get tested for the virus as someone she works with at Casey's in Hayfield, may be positive for it.  She just had a baby a few months ago and has two other children, so hopefully she isn't infected.

I hate this virus.  I hate that tRump and his idiots will not take it seriously and seem to think we should all be honored to just die for the sake of the economy.  Fuck the economy.  The economy will bounce back eventually.  Anyone who dies of this shit will be dead forever.

I HATE that asshole tRump with the venom of a million rabid cobras.  If hate could kill, he would be engulfed in flames at this very moment.

I just read yesterday that he is trying to roll back gay/trans rights to appease his talibangelical base.  He is SO evil.
