I guess you didn't get blown away by the Tornado after all.
Today was the first day of textbook check-in. Leslie's husband came to help. Plus our regular parent volunteer Arlene. And the VP who retired last year came to help as well. Klub Knot made her a beautiful afghan as a gift so she should be helping us for several years as payback.
Gas is....$4.35 a gallon today.
My plans for the summer:
Reclaim my yard from the weeds and trash.
Reclaim my house from the boxes waiting to go up in the attic.
Rearrange my attic.
Clean and rearrange my garage.
Okay, that will probably take way longer than the summer as I'm not working in the extreme heat.
I hope to read a lot of books and start sewing again. No more masters. No more National Board. I have my life back.
