[Error: unknown template qotd]I'd like to spend a year in the British Isles.  I'd like to really get to know the people and the places like a native...well, maybe "like a native" is impossible, but I'd like to feel like a part of it all.  For a while.

I couldn't stay away from my home that long. I think three weeks is my max. I spent four weeks in Germany once. I enjoyed the first two, the third started to drag and by the fourth I was antsy to get home and sleep in my own bed, pee in my own toilet and take a nice long bath in my own tub.
