When I left the house, there was one little ding on the East wall of the stairway. This is the west wall. Obviously these assholes were so careless and clumsy that they trashed all the drywall on the stairwell.

When I moved into the place it was lath and plaster. I had the stairwell and the upstairs hallway and two of the ceilings in the bedrooms dry walled because the plaster was crumbling. I paid good money for that. Now look at it. Fucking losers.

That is easily fixed. Some dry wall compound from Home Depot and a wide spatula or trowel. If you're neat you can eliminate a lot of sanding. Then prime and paint. At least it's not a HOLE. That can also be repaired but takes longer, more compound or even a patch and is a lot more annoying.
