I HATE Shopping. Shopping Sucks.

I presented myself to Lori, the fabulous chiropractor at exactly 9:30 a.m. I was astonished that there was no other person in her office except the two of us and her two employees, Peg and Roxie. LOVE those names--Lori, Peg, and Roxie. It sounds like a trio of superhero type women--or maybe an all-woman space probe crew. I had the usual--adjustment/massage, followed by accupuncture and electro-stim therapy. I talked to Peg about her daughters' Barbie collection--and drooled a lot. But mostly, I sat in the dark room with about 30 needles sticking out of me and thought about stuff. My mind ranged all over the place.
When I left there, I went to Target where I bought two more of those wooden organizer boxes that I believe will make nice Barbie rooms. I also bought 2 Fashion AVenue outfit collections and two separates that are actually made for those monster headed barbies. If ONLY they would scale their heads down to a normal size!!!!! The dolls have such pretty faces, but they'd be Giant Headed Aliens in my Barbie world. I got another of those snap lid carrycases to put my Playmobil Pirate stuff in, for when I transport it around to take pictures of it for my Kidd Comic strip that I hope to make. I have to try to get to Toys R Us this week, because I need to check out their farm sets. I need to get an animal packet that has a goat in it....for Brad.....heh heh heh.
I got a variety of vitamins that I was out of and some toothpaste. Rah.
Then, I went to McDonalds and got a McGrill chicken sandwich with no lettuce and double tomato. Yum. I sat in the parking lot of super Walmart and devoured it along with the bottle of diet coke I also bought at Target. At SuperWalmart, I bought a DVD--St. Elmo's Fire--for $5.50, $20 worth of 1/2 yard lengths of a variety of small print, multi-colored, festive material for making Barbie clothes out of, several spools of narrow ribbon that was either rainbow striped or dotted, all the small doll stands they had (five or six, I think), some sugar free candy, a canister of mango scented "body butter" that smells good enough to eat, and groceries. I got some bing cherries and strawberries and grapes. The bing cherries are WONDERFUL. I have to make sure i don't allow any of them to go to waste, since they cost $3.00 a pound.
I ran into Karla S (whom I used to work with at Triton) at the front door when I first arrived. We had a good talk about Brett, the asshole of the universe. I feel soooo sorry for people who are stuck working for that piece of shit.
On my way out of town, I stopped at the gas station, since gas is perpetually 20 cents cheaper in Owatonna. And, since I was there, I got the super wash option, and ran my car through the drive through car wash. I love that. The soap suds are dyed. They hit the windows in strips of blue and purple. It's so cool to watch the water pound down on the windshield and hear the whir of the machine.
Plus it is very nice to have a clean car.
On the way home I listened to the radio--and there were big storms up by the Twin Cities at that time. Now they have edged further this way...the electricity has already gone off for a minute or two, it's pitch dark outside and there is thunder and lightning a flickering.
I'll probably have to sign off computer soon because of the lightning.
Don't want it to fry my new computer!
When I got home I put away my groceries and discovered that my expensive "REAL" Peanut butter which I get because it doesn't contain anything but peanuts had the bottom of it's jar broken off. It got all over my cans of chicken noodle soup. And it was a pisser to have to throw it away since it is about $3.00 for a moderate sized jar!
So, now I'm upstairs where it is cooler, messing around on the web.
But the lightning is really getting intense, so I suppose I should sign out.
Buh-bye, now.
