He probably has some chihuahua and some jack russell. There is definitely some kind of terrier in him.

He needs to be taught to sit and say please for treats. "Please" for my dog is shaking hands. I taught him to sit and then put my left hand out and lifted his right leg, shook it and gave him a treat saying "Please". Now when I say please he just lifts his right leg, like he's waving hello. It's cute. Even my Dad can make him do it now. This also teaches him who is boss, which is a good thing. Indulging dogs is fine as long as they know their place in the pecking order.
