I ran across this little doll in my cleaning efforts. I bought her along with four or five others at a "Doll and Bear" show at the mall in Albert Lea.

I had two of these kiddles (different dolls/same general size and construction) when I was a kid, but I was JUST getting old enough to be ashamed of still liking dolls, so I didn't get any more.

As you can see, I've gotten past the shame. Hah hah hah hah.

I sewed the little red and checked outfit she is wearing. Yes, it was a pain in the ass because it is soooo tiny.

She and her little companions were all naked when I bought them. Naked and laying in a bucket of other naked small dolls. I fished them out, paid $5/6 bucks apiece for them, and brought them home.

I had a couple of those cuties - they were Barbie and GI Joe's daughters. : )

Mine had much longer hair, though - down to their feet.

When I quit the doll-playing, I gave them to a younger cousin. Her daughter now has them as part of HER doll collection, all arranged on shelves in a big standing cabinet. Kinda fun to see them when I visit.

A barbie that I bought at a flea market years ago for $5.00 or so, just sold on ebay (not mine, but one just like her) for $1,800!!!

I gave some serious thought to putting mine on, but....what would her husband and kids do without her???

Take the money and run --- to Disney World, of course. : )

Seriously, it's a VERY TOUGH decision to sell if you are emotionally attached. I'd need a HUGE catastrophe to make me sell my stuff.
