Well, I am uploading my pictures of the Durst Extravaganza as I type this. They are below--now the quality isn't all that great due to the fact that it was night, but I wanted the pictures to show as much as possible. They are pretty nifty, regardless of their quality.
The red tree there was a little disturbing. It looked like it was awash with fire ants. The pink flamingo looked terribly unhappy at being frozen in a snow bank. He looked like he was wondering where the warm gulf had gone.
The first above is just a view across the yard. The number of lights and holiday statuary and stuff is unbelieveable. The second is a front view of the actual house. It's as gaudy as hell, and terribly impressive.
It's like this all the way through the farm site. Stuff EVERYWHERE. In the back you can see the nativity. In the front you see Mr. and Mrs. Claus and a polar bear cub getting ready to go pay their respects to the baby Jesus. The little train to the right was really cute. The wheels appeared to move as smoke appeared to billow out of its stack.
Quite charming.
This is a wannabe from Mantorville. Still, it is impressive. Imagine their electric bill!
There will be no new pictures from me until January as I have hit my upload LIMIT in Flickr. GASP!!!
