Is there no depths to which the reTHUGlicans will not sink? What's next? The "N" word? Something ugly referring to Hispanic peoples?
I'd really like to know WHERE these assholes get their sense of entitlement. Their freewheeling judgement of EVERYONE who is not of their own personal cultural/racial/gender/religious preference astounds me.
The thing that continuously sickens and amaze and horrifies me is their continuous claim to be "God fearing CHRISTIANS." Yet, lying, name calling, hatred-promoting, scheming, cheating, and all other forms of what I would view as serious sinfulness are all completely OKAY by them!
In my Bible, "Thou shalt lie thine ass off to smear a rival," is not one of the ten commandments. And "Blessed art thou when thou dost promote acts of violence against those with whom thy view differs" is amazingly NOT in my Bible's beattitudes either.
My mother would say, "All of them are bad. The republicans are no different than the democrats." Yet....I don't see that level of lying and hatred promoting and violence against other human beings stirring bullshit in the democratic party. If it is in fact happening, I wish someone would show me a link to a (reliable) news source showing it.
I remember way back when Walter Mondale and Geraldine Ferraro were running and George senior referred to her (foolishly within earshot of some guy's video camera) as a "bitch." Yep. Another good Christian example in the "family values" party.
Seriously, I sometimes want to grab a screw driver and just shove it into my eye. I don't want to see this shit any more.
