Monday
Man, I did NOT want to get up on Monday morning. I was tired and wanted to STAY IN BED. But, I got up and went to school anyhow. Sigh.
Katie and Molly Denton stopped in. Seems like only days ago that Molly was just a bump in mommy's tummy--but now, geez! She's 18 months old already. She sure looks like her daddy.
I was so tired--I just wanted to go home--so, I left school as early as possible. On the way home, I drove by the pond with the swans on it. They are nesting. I go by as often as I can, hoping to see some babies swimming around. So far, nuthin.
Here are some pictures of the swans, though. I couldn't get much closer. I am amazed at how BIG the nest is.

My friend DK wanted to see what it looks like where I live--he lives in SLC, so to him, flat land is a bit of a novelty. Ha ha.
This is a freshly plowed field over by Wasioja (where the supposedly haunted seminary is). It's just a little ways south from where the swans are.
I know most people see them as weeds and hate them, but I love my little dandelions. This is a yard a mile or two outside of West Concord.
This one is a bit closer yet to West Concord. I love it when the whole lawn is bright yellow. Soooo pretty.
When I got home I worked very hard sweeping and scrubbing the kitchen floor. It had been scruffy for two weeks. I like the way it looks and smells when it is all fresh and clean.
That was pretty much the extent of my cleaning--I did do some organizing upstairs.
I talked to my friend Jersey for a while on the phone. We have a lot in common, so I enjoy talking to her. Then, I crashed. I was sooooo tired.
