New Obsession: Making doll sweaters out of socks.

I can't stand how cute they turn out!!

    



Here you see "Savannah" modelling the cute little striped sock sweater with cherries on it.  I made her a cute little hat with the toe of the sock and a piece of bright pink felt.

The last picture shows her standing next to the remaining sock that is going to be made into another sweater later.




   

I am thinking of redoing this one.  I don't like the way the arms fit into the bodice.  I am thinking of cutting the sides of the bodice up at an angle and making raglan sleeves.

The sock below is made from that sweater's mate.  The ankle part of the sock wasn't very long, so I had to add on a piece from the "foot" part.  The one above is made entirely from the foot part. 






This one may be my favorite.  I bought a couple pairs of these socks because I loved the bear so much.
