Slept quite late today. I was up until 3 am again last night. I tried getting to sleep earlier, but couldn't. Finally I just took a shot of Nyquil. Then I was like I was drugged. Couldn't wake up again.
Mom went to Jack's pastor's good-bye party. That scratches my plan to try going to church there. This guy was incredibly intelligent and not some dumb ass. Unfortunately, his congregation thought his sermons were too deep. So they sent him on his way.
While she was gone, I took a bath and warmed up some green beans for lunch. I had a few of the cookies I made yesterday for dessert. There was a marathon of A Haunting episodes on the Green Planet channel, so I watched two episodes of that. There was one I had not seen before. Then Mom came home and she doesn't like that sort of thing, so we watched The Princess Diaries 1 and 2 on the Disney channel. She played on the computer and I finished the cute little Christmas frock I had cut out for Chryssie.
Mom made some popcorn and that is what we had for supper.
After the movie was over, I went into my room and messed with the computer for a while. Then I put away some clean clothes and cleaned out a bag full of hanging folders and miscellaneous stuff. I had emptied out another bag last night when I couldn't sleep, and I moved the books that were in that one over to the shelves above my desk.
In the folder bag, there were many bits and pieces of stories I have written or compositions I wrote in college. I need to winnow through those and toss anything that isn't worth saving for future reference.
That's pretty much it for today.
I'm hungry, but it isn't worth going upstairs to find something to eat. I wish I had brought down a ziplock bag of those cookies I made yesterday. When I get my check, I am going to buy some crackers, so on nights like this I can have peanut butter and crackers. I'll get some more of those Nutty Bars too--those were another thing that was good to have down here when there wasn't enough food for the day.
Perhaps tomorrow I will poach an egg or something.
I would love to go to Perkins for breakfast....have the mushroom and asparagus omlette with a side of link sausages and a big glass of orange juice. And pancakes. DROOOOOOOOL.
