One of my current projects

I have been working on a new project--it's actually something that I have been intending to do for over a year.
My friend Dave had his first grandchild a little over a year ago, and I told him I would give her a doll and a bunch of clothes for it. I bought the doll right away, but I have not really been motivated to work on the clothes. He asked me in a plaintive voice one day if I was still doing it, as he had told his son and daughter-in-law about it. They were telling him that she is beginning to take an interest in her dolls.
So, I got my lazy butt in gear and started working on the wardrobe.
My mom cut me out a little coat from fleece. I sewed it up and crocheted a pink scarf to go with it. I also made a white hat, but I haven't put the pink brim or tassle on it yet, so I didn't include it in the picture.

After the coat, I crocheted her a little yellow baby blanket, which I think turned out especially cute. Below you see her wrapped up in it.

And here you see the blanket spread out--over my computer.

And below is the adorable little pjs I sewed for her. They turned out way way cuter than I expected them to.

Stay tuned for more pictures. I also bought a tall storage crate with a handle so all the things can be kept in it and it can be brought along on family outings.
