My Pipecleaner Animals...

On of my doll groups sent out instructions on making pipe cleaner critters.  I got into it and made these critters.  Don't know what I will do with them, but I am especially fond of the bee, the duck, and the hound dawg.  The bear just looks a little lame to me.








These were both supposed to be chameleons, but the shorter one looks more like a skink to me.



I want to try making another bear--perhaps I can do better the next time.  Also, I want to try to make a skunk and a squirrel, but I don't have the right kind of pipe cleaner to make a squirrel.  I need the fuzzier ones for the busy tail.

In theory, I love squirrels.  They're cute.  In actual fact, I hate the little bastards who get into my attic and lately into my basement as well.  I don't want them running freely in my house, the little pricks.

The one who did ate the face off my Gone with the Wind Scarlett O'Hara barbie.

That should have been a death sentence for him.

I do think the houndog is quite cute. So is the duck. The bear....not so much. I think it might be the googly eyes throwing it off. And he needs a shorter, rounder body.

I like squirrels in theory as well. Never had to deal with the destructive ones. Although we do have problems with groundsquirrels undermining stuff here by digging their burrows. Bold little suckers. (They're all named Petey BTW and they all have arthritis.)

And yes, the face eating Barbie destroyer should be terminated. Ramses would be glad to do it for you. Just send him priority mail. No need for airholes. Would you like the corpse returned when he's done?

hmmm...Ramses should come and visit me in the spring. He can eat all the squirrels on my block.
