[Error: unknown template qotd]I find the Oscars extremely boring and never watch them. If I had watched them, I would have had eyes ONLY for Hugh Jackman, who is gorgeous.

Ooo. Ooo. Pick me. Pick me.
Date: 2009-02-24 01:08 am (UTC)We both really hated this white thing that looked like she wrapped herself in a bedsheet and then pinned it with safety pins. It was like a white sheath with this big balloon of fabric falling from her neck to waist and then another falling from her waist. It was just awful. I can't think of anyone that dress would be flattering on.
The dress I really loved was a red silk lined with taupe. It was worn by the woman that won short documentary. It had a high neckline in the front and low in the back and there were two drapes from her shoulders in the back looped up to her waist. I really liked that one.
My Mother liked the ballgowns. Like what Sarah Jessica Parker was wearing, except we both thought her boobs were popping out of the top way too much. It wasn't flattering to her. She really didn't need the implants. The dress would have looked much better without. I wonder if she did that because she's divorcing Matthew Broderick?
One more thing.

The short doc winner was "Smile Pinki" about doctors repairing cleft palettes in India. I just love Megan Mylan's dress:
