Well, there were my barbie dolls--I only had about twelve of them when I was a kid, so it was possible for me to carry them all with me if I wanted to. However, I didn't often do this.
What I DID carry with me ALL THE TIME was a three ring binder that zipped shut. In it, I kept all the stories I was writing along with a bunch of pictures and articles on Star Trek (the original series) and a few of the other shows that I really liked watching on tv, like Lancer and High Chaparral.
I kept pencils, pens, and plenty of paper in my binder so that I could write whenever the urge struck me. Thank goodness for lap top computers. Now I can just carry that around. LOL.
