Did these people not know they had to leave? Didn't they get like 30 days or 60 days notice of eviction? Were they living in a dream world thinking that if they just ignored it it would go away and they wouldn't have to go?

Did the sheriff have to come and kick them out and padlock the doors?

The gas company turned the gas off. I had told them way before Christmas that I wanted them OUT by January first, but they just wouldn't leave. The cop said he couldn't do anything about it because there were children in the house. So, I was just fucked.

They finally left when the gas got turned off because they were freezing in there. And then the city turned the water off.
