I made a "rat hat" for my little boy doll. I haven't put a bead on the nose yet, but I will. I thought it turned out pretty cute. The rat tail hangs all the way to his waist. (I made the little pjs also)

Date: 2012-03-15 10:30 am (UTC)I had this scrap of gray felt, and I was trying to think what I could make out of it (because I was tossing useless scraps and it was too little to do anything major with but too big to just toss). As I messed with it, I started thinking that it looked like a large, humped up rat. Then I thought, "Geez, I bet little Hector would LOVE a 'rat hat.'" So I made him one. I'm not real satisfied with the ears, but I love the shape of the hat itself.
