chochiyo_samaI woke up early enough to test my blood, fill my pill caddy, and get dressed before my Zoom meeting with DeAnn. We had another good session. We are both involved in home improvements and the frustrations involved therein. I actually found myself looking forward to winter and snow today. I don't know why. There is just something magical about being snug and warm inside while a blizzard rages outside.
When our session was done, I ate my spicy Italian sub for lunch. I had taken my meds and vitamins about half way through the session to avoid the laxative effects of them as much as possible. That kicked in right at the end of the session, but no horrific effects resulted. It was a perfectly lovely fall day again. We are desperate for a little rain, but the temperatures are cool but not cold and the sun has been shining brightly.
I tried to catch up on my journal entries, but I couldn't focus on them at that time. I watched some random stuff on TV and fell asleep in the recliner. After a pleasant nap, I was much more able to work on the backlog of entries. I got them done and watched The Walking Dead which was better this week than last week, but still not up to their best work.
After The Walking Dead, there was an episode of the last spin-off, which I think is called The Walking Dead: Another World. It has been so long since that one was on that I did not even remember any of the characters. It made no sense to me at all, and I finally just stopped paying attention to it. Talking Dead, the "therapy" show that takes the fans through the events of the current episode and has interviews with the writers and actors/actresses was on next and was pretty good.
After that show, I turned off the television and watched some YouTube videos on the laptop. There was a pretty good one that demonstrated making Halloween snacks for a doll Halloween party. I will probably attempt some of them one of these days. I am really in the mood to make stuff for my dolls and set them up in little displays. I have been really thinking about some plots for stories about the dolls I own and their interesting "lives." I can post the stories on the doll groups that I belong to on Facebook.
That's about it for my life. Not a lot going on. Tomorrow I have to really dig in on my cleaning activities.
