This sucks.

My clinical depression is kicking in this week--probably due to the fact that workshop days are an exercise in futility.  People are in my room constantly--yap yap yapping.  One goes out and another comes in....as a result, I get NOTHING done.

And we have kids for real on Thursday.

Sigh.

I KNOW that regardless, I will be okay--but JUST ONCE, I'd like to start the school year off not feeling like I'm in complete chaos.

And of course, everyone and their dog is bugging me at home too.  "What do you mean, you don't want to go to a movie with me?"  "How about dinner?"  "How about coming over to watch a video at MY house instead?"

Umm.....DUH!!!

It's the freaking last Weekend before school starts!  I have STUFF to DO!!!

Sigh.

I remember inservice days. They were # 3 on my list of "Top 10 Reasons Why I Quit Classroom Teaching And Became A Private Tutor."
