I have not touched my bills in almost five weeks. I've been paid twice. Every time I think about touching the bills I feel like I am going to throw up.

This is because I *KNOW* I have way more "bill" than I have "money."

What this fucking around has done to me is ensure me of (I'm sure) several late charges.

I fuck myself over like this ALL THE TIME. Why do I do it??

I am about to balance my check book. (I feel dizzy and nauseated at the idea of doing so.) When I get home, I will go to the post office and get my mail. (Which I haven't gotten for about three weeks.)

God, I feel like throwing up right now.

Jim takes care of bills and stuff. It's probably not that healthy, but if I tried they would get so messed up.

G. You have to let your new laptop do the work for you.

Does your bank allow electronic banking? If not....switch.

Does your district do direct deposit? Ask.

If you can get your district to deposit your check directly and you have a bank that does electronic banking you're set.

I pay all of my bills automatically. I don't write checks and mail bills anymore. Nada. Nothing. It's all automatic. And I have never felt less stress. I don't even balance my checkbook anymore. Really.

If you can manage to set this up, you are going to be surprised how much more relaxed you are.

Really.

I would love to do this, but because I live in hicksville, my salary is still in the 18th century--and somebody always has to wait to be paid. With electronic banking, everyone just helps themselves.

I have no control over making them wait their turn.

Sigh.

Maybe once I get the car paid off, electronic banking will be an option. I do have the house on electronic banking!
