I am so tired that I can't possibly sleep.
I got down to the post office--I got the mail. *SHUDDER*
I only had two bills in the big stack of mail I sorted through--one from Capitol One and one from Xcel Energy. I had enough money, so I paid them. Now I have to subsist on about $50 for the next two weeks. Arg. No groceries this week, I guess. Thank goodness I have meat in the freezer and plenty of canned goods. I will be able to survive. Also, I have a secret--I always have a hundred dollars more in my checking account than I show in my check register. It's a little game I play with myself.
Bad thing: I drank my last diet coke today. Can I live two weeks without it?? Inquiring minds are breathless to discover that information!
I had three packages in the mail....whoopee!
One was from Bobbie on the Love All Dolls group. It was a Flava! I had always intended to get them--especially the boys--but I was always a little short of cash. Then, suddenly, they were not there any more. So, getting this girl was nifty.
I also got the package from Florida--20 little Kelly and Kelly clone dolls. They are adorable. Several are duplicates of dolls I have or of each other...so I may send some down to Jeanne-Mar and I might also offer to give a couple to the gal from Australia who has a hard time getting barbies.
I was thinking of sewing a bunch of little white sailor dresses and making them orphans. I could sew a nun's habit for a barbie and make her into Sister Mary Celeste. Heh heh....I have an extra Mimi doll....I could sew her a habit and make her Mother Superior of the little orphanage....I don't know what kind of name would be suitable for her!
It would be sort of like Madeline, but not really.
I also got the knitted bArbie clothes that I got on Ebay. They are kinda dirty, but really neat. I think I will hand wash them this weekend. I could never have parted with them if MY great aunts had sewed them for me.
WEll, I have to TRY to sleep.
I'm just too buzzed up on some kind of endorphin to actually fall asleep!
ARG.
