Can't Sleep

My back hurts.  My knee hurts.  There is an empty spot in my bed where my cat should be.  I miss Michael.  I miss Frank.  I miss my grandma.  I miss the IBDOF the way it USED to be...I miss writing.  I miss being able to move like a normal human being rather than a geriatric cripple.

Sigh.

I wish I could sleep.  I already took some Nyquil, and now it is late enough that I am afraid to take more for fear that, if I do, I will be insanely groggy and useless at school tomorrow.

I should have taken one of my codeine pain pills when I went to bed, but I figured a little shot of Nyquil would do it. 

I fell asleep earlier in the evening while messing around on the computer and probably slept two or three hours.  Woke up at about 10:30 and have been awake ever since.

I wonder if there is some sort of weather change coming in?  My knee and my back are just aching.  I put the last of my Topricin on them in hopes that would help.  My back feels a little better--I suspect it is just really really tight, but my knee is still aching.

God, it sucks to be old.

My body started to fall apart when I hit 49. Starting with my appendectomy.

I've been off for days. Chills Sunday. Fever Monday morning. First I thought it was a bladder infection. Last night I think I poisoned myself with the lentil soup I made. So much for home cooking.

I sleep 10 hours a day and I'm still tired. Now my piriformis on the other side hurts.

You're lucky you can take Nyquil. It makes me vomit.

I'm wondering if I will outlive my parents.

Take a day off from work if you have to. You need to take care of yourself.

I think I'll have Pepto Bismol for dinner tonight.
